Main Chick- Mojo Aioli Fish Tacos


  • 1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Shredded cabbage or lettuce
  • Sliced avocado

  1. Cut the fish fillets into small, manageable pieces.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, cornmeal, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each piece of fish in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the fish pieces for 2-3 minutes per side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fish from the skillet and let it drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or in the oven.

  9. Serve the fish tacos with lime wedges on the side.
